Isaac del Toro wins the Deutschland Tour

Isaac del Toro secured overall victory at the Deutschland Tour after safely completing the final stage around Heilbronn. Paul Magnier won the closing bunch sprint, while the UAE Team Emirates-XRG rider finished in the main group to protect the blue leader's jersey.

Del Toro opened the race by winning the 2.6-kilometre prologue in Bad Orb but later lost the lead to Louis Barré. He regained control on the queen stage, which featured more than 3,000 metres of climbing, attacking with around 35 kilometres remaining. Only Giulio Pellizzari could follow; the Italian won the stage, while Del Toro took a 52-second overall advantage.

The Mexican then controlled the final day to complete a performance built on time-trial speed, climbing strength and a well-timed long-range attack. The victory adds another stage-race title to his 2026 season and confirms his ability to win on varied terrain.
