Kooij survives the chaos to win in Münster

Olav Kooij won the Münsterland Giro after a chaotic finale marked by a crash and a disorganised sprint. The Decathlon CMA CGM rider found the clearest path to the line and beat Jordi Meeus, with Frits Biesterbos taking third place.

No team was able to control the closing circuits after the early break was caught. Mads Pedersen launched early to lead out Max Walscheid in the German's final race, but the pair were overwhelmed as Kooij moved through to victory.
