Lennart Jasch wins the Tour de Langkawi and mountains jersey

Lennart Jasch completed his breakthrough week by winning the 2026 Tour de Langkawi. The Tudor Pro Cycling rider finished the eight-stage race 26 seconds ahead of Abel Balderstone, with Balderstone's Caja Rural teammate Jan Castellon third at 42 seconds.

The 25-year-old German, a former speed skater who moved into professional cycling less than three years ago, also won the mountains classification with 45 points. Matteo Malucelli claimed the final stage in Putrajaya, his third victory of the race, but Jasch safely retained the overall lead he had taken on stage 2.
