Lapeira denies world champion McNulty at Coppa Agostoni

Paul Lapeira won the 2026 Coppa Agostoni after beating world champion Brandon McNulty in a reduced sprint in Lissone. Andrea Raccagni Noviero finished third, ahead of Mauro Schmid, Sam Maisonobe and Lorenzo Fortunato, all credited with the same time as the winner.

McNulty helped force the decisive selection during the final passage over Colle Brianza. Six riders remained at the front after the last climb of Lissolo, but Lapeira's speed proved decisive in the sprint and delivered the Frenchman the ninth professional victory of his career.
