Seixas swaps Lombardia glory for Roc d’Azur mountain biking
Paul Seixas is announced for the Roc d’Azur CIC mountain bike race in Fréjus on Sunday 11 October, just one day after winning his first Monument at Il Lombardia. Organisers confirmed his participation alongside Bruno Armirail.
The flagship event covers 55 kilometres. The programme gives the Decathlon CMA CGM rider an unusual end to his season, switching from the road to off-road racing immediately after his solo victory in Como.
Seixas arrives after becoming Il Lombardia’s youngest winner, ahead of Enric Mas and Giulio Ciccone. His visit to Fréjus adds an off-road chapter to the end of a breakthrough season.
