Hagenes wins Paris-Tours by two seconds ahead of Stuyven
Per Strand Hagenes won Paris-Tours on 11 October, reaching the finish two seconds ahead of Jasper Stuyven. Christophe Laporte completed the podium, giving Team Visma | Lease a Bike two riders in the top three.
The Norwegian covered the 216.2 kilometres in 4:31:46. The small winning margin reflects how close the race remained right up to the finish in Tours.
Matys Grisel finished fourth and Jonas Abrahamsen fifth, both in the group two seconds behind the winner. Hagenes takes the victory in one of the final major classics of the road season.
